Aikido Mugen Juku, Los Angeles welcomes teen and adult students of all levels interested in the practice of Aikido. We teach the Yoshinkan system of Aikido, with a strong focus on the fundamentals of postural alignment, balance, distance and timing. We also emphasize safe and harmonious partner practice, so that people of all levels and abilities can train together.
Aikido Mugen Juku, Los Angeles is an affiliate dojo of Aikido Mugen Juku, International, which was founded by Jacques Payet Shihan (8th Dan, Yoshinkan Aikido).
Edward Sterrett (6th Dan, Yoshinkan Aikido) is the owner and instructor at Aikido Mugen Juku, Los Angeles. He began his study of Yoshinkan Aikido in 1996, and has been a direct student of Jacques Payet Shihan since 2001. He received all of his rank and certifications through Payet Shihan, and returns yearly to Japan for intensive training with him.
